how it works
BMM Technology through the know-how gained over the years has created itslatest generation degassing system that by alternating pressure and depressure stimulates the microcells of the coffee to realese CO2 in the shortest possible time so that the product will not lose flavor and aromas.
The primary benefits of the BMM system are its optimal production performance and flexibility, coupled with minimum energy consumption, which seeks to obtain the lowest environmental impact possible.
The BMM degassing system performance sets a standard above its competition, ituses 5/7 m3 /hr of nitrogen every 1000 kg of ground coffee with energy requirement of 3 kWh and only requiring 30% of the processing time (example 5,5kWh installed power – real consumption 1 kWh) while managing all the phases:

our innovative system
in/out transport
The system features a set of launch pads and cyclones to transport the product from the grinder to the silos, and from these to the packaging machine.
The transport system is not as cluttered as traditional systems and guarantees the absence of residues. In turn, this allows the alternation of mixtures without contaminating the different products.
Insufflation system
Insufflation takes place through a system with rotating arms equipped with a spray ball, which guarantees the spraying of all the product in the silo.
Moreover, this system prevents the formation of preferential routes whilst reducing degassing times.

“Vacuum” System
The vacuum degassing system differs from traditional systems in that it allows a drastic reduction in energy costs whilst notably lowering the ratio of cubic metres of nitrogen used per coffee kg in the degassing and preservation phase.

When transporting the ground coffee from the grinder to the silos and from the silos to the packaging machines, the system guarantees zero nitrogen consumption, and an energy consumption close to zero, with a potential saving of several tens/hundreds of thousands of euros/dollars per year.
